Kanene’s Father Reveals Kanene Has 3 Wives, 6 Children

Jailed singer General Kanene's father Leonard Dimba has revealed his son has three wives and six children who plays the role of a breadwinner.

General Kanene was recently slapped with an 18-year jail sentence for defilement.

His father says the development has brought a lot of misery to his family because Kanene was the breadwinner.

According to The Post, Dimba says the sentence was as though his son had committed murder.

He said in an interview from his home in Lusaka's Misisi compound that Kanene's conviction was not fair.

Dimba, who was with his wife, said the family depended on Kanene for sustenance.

"My wife and I are not in employment. We depend on Kanene. He feeds us with the money he makes from music shows," Dimba, a retiree, complained.

He said Kanene, 29, has three wives and six children.

Dimba said the parents of the girl whom Kanene is said to have defiled failed to prove her exact age, arguing that she could be over the age of 16.

He complained that medical experts did not examine the girl and that she looked older than the purported age despite being short.

"The girl's parents couldn't produce birth certificates of their daughter. They said that all her birth records were burnt in the house where they lived in Choma but we know it's all lies because not even a police report was produced," he explained.

Dimba further claimed that the girl was old enough and she had been patronising drinking places for a long time.

"In fact, we used to drink with her in one of the bars here.
Some three – four years ago, she would come in a bar with a baby and a friend. She likes dancing in bars. She was also Kanene's dancing queen, hence many people around here know her very well," he added.

Dimba also narrated that at first, the girl's father went to complain to him (Dimba) that Kanene had abducted his daughter but later changed that he had defiled her.

Dimba, who later broke down, said God would be the final judge on the matter because it was not as though his son had committed murder.

Kanene's brother, Honest, had the same complaint, saying his brother's 18-year jail sentence was too much as the girl's age had not been established.

EXPOSED!!! Is your Brazilian hair really from Brazil? The biggest schemes & scams in the virgin human hair industry

Have you ever wondered if your weave hair really comes from India? Or Brazil? Or Mongolia? Or Peru? Well, sorry to break it to you, but most likely it does not. The human hair trade is a growing – and very lucrative – industry. With sales exceeding 12 billion dollars a year, customers should look out for scams and marketing ploys of every kind.

I am a known hair extension fanatic. I love my pure-virgin-remy-premium-raw-unprocessed human hair just like every other hairlista out there, but spending my hard-earned coins on bad quality hair one too many times has made me extremely skeptical of every YouTube guru, beauty supply store and wholesaler out there. As a result, I went on a quest to find out where this exotic hair really comes from. I sat down for an one-on-one interview with Los Angeles-based Indian hair importer and salesman Vince Selva to get the scoop on some of the biggest hair scams and how to look out for them.
Selva, who owns the Indo Asian Human Hair in Inglewood, Calif., has been in the industry for two nearly decades. Originally from South India, the 74-year-old began his career as an importer of wholesale raw hair. “I had a boat and so that’s how I started. But retail, I started about eight years back,” he shared. “It’s a boomin’ billion dollar industry but many, many scams.”

Shocking Photos: Man who attempts to blow up pregnant girlfriend blows up himself too

This 36 year old Chinese man pictured above, kidnapped his pregnant 21-year-old girlfriend, tied a gas tank to her back and ignited it when police turned up to try and rescue her. But he is right now fighting for his life alongside his girlfriend in a Chinese
hospital after he too was caught up in the blast. Surgeons are battling to save their lives but, despite the mother-to-be’s horrific injuries, her unborn baby managed to survive.
21 year old Xu Fan fell pregnant by mistake after a one-night-stand with Li Moulian, but the pair decided to stay together and moved into to a house in Mazhuang New Village. Sixth months into their relationship, the pressure seemed too much for the father-to-be.

Public Speaking Coaching? Here’s What It Means to Me

Yesterday began with the incredible thrill of hearing myself quoted by WNYC’s Brian Lehrer.
WNYC is our local NPR station. It has roughly a million unique listeners every week — more than any other public radio station in the U.S. (maybe the world!) — and popular morning host Brian Lehrer kicked off his show on coaching with this:
People have been writing already on [coaching], on a wide range of what a coach can mean to our lives. One public speaking coach, Jezra Kaye from Speak Up for Success, writes to us about her approach and says, for her as a coach, “Public speaking isn’t really about presentations. It’s about your right to be heard, and your mission in life, what you’re here to say.” So we can take this in many directions.

What Public Speakers Can Learn from the Divergent Series

I’m deep into the second novel in Veronica Roth’s dystopian young adult series, Divergent, and the more I read, the more I see parallels with public speaking.
***SPOILER ALERT: The main premise of Divergent is about to be revealed.***
The Divergent novels (Divergent, Insurgent, and Allegiant) are set in a world that’s separated, Apartheid-style, into five “factions”:
  • Candor train throughout their lives to detect and avoid telling lies. They’re blunt and insensitive, but you always know where you stand with them.
  • Amity grow the food and maintain beauty in the Divergent world. They’re the kindest faction, but unable to tolerate people who aren’t all about peace and consensus.
  • Abnegation strive to purge selfish or self-aggrandizing thoughts and actions from their hearts, minds, and souls. They’re admirable, but not much fun to be around.
  • Erudite value knowledge and innovation. They’re brilliant but arrogant, and willing to do any amount of damage in pursuit of what they think are rational ends.
  • Dauntless value courage, and routinely do things like jump off moving trains onto seven-story-high roofs. They’re passionate but impulsive, and tend to die young.

How to Give a Commencement, Valedictorian, or Graduation Speech

A graduation speech is part entertainment, part  inspiration — and the best way to win over any audience is to show your understanding of what entertains and inspires them.
So start to prepare your graduation speech by thinking about your audience.

Step One: Know the Graduates You’ll Be Talking To

If you’re the valedictorian of your class, you already understand your classmates’  hopes, fears, expectations, opportunities, and attitudes.
But if you’re not well-versed in what today’s high school, college, and graduate students are thinking about and facing, now’s the time to find out.  So do your research before you brainstorm and write your actual speech:
